POLYKEN 557 Premium Grade UL 181B-FX Listed Printed Duct Tape
Polyken 557 is a premium grade, 14-mil, UL 181B-FX printed polyethylene coated cloth duct tape.
A superior closure system for use with UL listed flexible, non-metallic air ducts and air connectors, this duct tape has excellent shear strength and strong high-tack adhesive. The aggressive natural rubber adhesive gives Polyken 557 an excellent bond to sheet metal and other surfaces and it's high strength is designed to withstand vertical pull from the weight of duct systems.
Superior quality, performance, and tensile strength. Shows excellent resistance to mold growth, humidity, flame spread, smoke generation, and the effects of high temperatures. This tape can also be used for heavy duty bundling, sealing, and repairs.
Meets code requirements and can contribute towards requirements for EA Credit 1 (Optimize Energy Performance) under LEED®. Polyken 557 can also contribute towards satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials) under LEED®.
