Our Merco M807 Friction Tape is a superior grade consisting of a pure rubber based adhesive properly calendared and impregnated into an extremely high quality grade cotton cloth. It is suitable for use to 80C/176F and for splices up to 600v. A high percentage of pure rubber is used for maximum elasticity and moisture resistance. Our M807 Friction will not fray or unravel. We package it in a donut wrap to keep it clean until first use.
Friction tape is commonly used for over wrapping low voltage splices, harnessing and cover taping for many mechanical applications that require a strong splice and accordingly our Merco M 807 Friction tape offers superior strength and is resistant to abrasion and moisture.
